Patrick and my 7th Anniversary was Sunday, August 20!
Crazy. It's been a great seven years, though.

August 5: Ben & Sarah got hitched! Here we are outside the temple during the endless photo shoot!
From left to right:
Eve, who is holding Eve, Hilary, Hannah, Yours Truly, Mom, holding Esther, Sarah, Ben, Dad, Isaac (the floating head), Levi, Jared, Aaron, and Luke. Aren't we so cute?
It really was a great experience to see Ben and Sarah get married in the temple- a very CELESTIAL experience, hee hee.
Sarah is awesome and I am so happy to have her as my sister!

A year of Esther! Our little angel was a year old June 6.

Here I am in "The Boy Friend" in the role of "Polly Brown". It was a fun show!

Caught in the act- Cat Cat supervising Esther's sleep. She LOVES Esther. She likes to come up and cuddle with Esther and wrap her tail around her. It's quite cute.

The top dog in his cool hat.

Three cute monkies.

Three clean monkies.

Esther is so cute in her new kitty outfit! She liked it so much she had to drool all over it to mark it as hers!

Every good mother must have a picture of their children in the buff out where everyone can see it- and since we have no coffee table (and do not even drink coffee and therefore find that phrase abhorrent!) to place a framed photo upon, this blog is the next best thing!

Alison Faye Darby- born December 24, 2005 on the bottom left AND Elias Connor Ekstrom born December 27, 2005 on the top right.

This continues the strange saga of our "Brothers Aaron" who went on missions at the same time, married their prospective wives the same month and NOW have their first childs within a week of each other. . .

Yes, it's weird. Weird, but so awesome that we have a new neice and nephew!!! Congrats Aaron and Aaron!!! (And Lynze and Dine!!!)

Christmas Day
Before and after the children were released.
We opened presents in the morning and we could have stopped after Esther's doorway toy you see here on the left- they all played with that the whole morning and very little with anything else!

Christmas Eve

Esther lookin' good in her Christmas outfit.

Here is the amazingly talented Esther- caught, for the first time (that we know of), STANDING in her crib! And only just 6 months old- what a genius!

What do you call two midgets in a pile of leaves?

Russel and uh, . . .well, . . .Russel

Halloween 2005
Tigger, a cow and a pumpkin- what a combination.

Here are the birthday people at their respective parties:
October 19
Patrick turning. . . well, REALLY old.

Eve turning 2 and ripping open her presents.

November 6

Emily turning 26, I mean, 25 at closing night, which also happened to be her birthday.

Here I am with photos from the Encore Player's production of Pirates of Penzance. The top picture is from rehearsal and I had to add it because I loved my lovely ghetto practice-parasol that kept whacking me on the face with the lace that was coming off at quite importune moments AND Fredrich is in there as well while we are rehearsing "Poor Wandering One"- he was awesome! Then a shot of the "Modern Major General" scene at dress rehearsal and "Seargent, Approach" and sometime in Act 1. We played from November 2-6 and it was so much fun!

This morning Bear, our beloved Darby family dog, died.
We'll miss her.
